What FCF means
FCF indicates that the naturally occurring furocoumarins (such as bergapten) have been removed. These compounds are responsible for the phototoxicity of regular bergamot oil. As a result, Bergamot FCF is non-phototoxic and suitable for cosmetic use when properly diluted.
Widely appreciated in aromatherapy for its bright, uplifting citrus aroma that promotes a sense of calm, emotional balance, and mental clarity.
Suggested use in a diffuser: 3–4 drops.
Bergamot FCF is valued in skincare for its balancing, purifying and refreshing properties, especially in formulas designed for oily or blemish-prone skin.
Recommended dilution in carrier oil:
Suitable for use in facial oils, body oils, massage blends, balms, and natural perfumes.
For external use only. Possible skin irritation if used undiluted. Keep away from children. Avoid contact with eyes and sensitive areas. Consult a healthcare professional before use during pregnancy, nursing, or under medical treatment.
